Miracles Are Happening

Wow! This is so cool. Make sure and watch the clip below. The movie Son of God, coming out on February 28th is the first full feature motion picture on the life of Jesus in 50 years according to Roma Downey, one of the filmmakers of this film. You may also recall her as the main character in the show that aired years ago on television called Touched by An Angel and the filmmaker for the Bible Series.

As I was watching the clip I could feel the power of the Holy Spirit working behind it. It’s an exciting time right now in America and in Hollywood. Please pass these links on, spread the word on your social media sites. You can also go to their website here to get involved or encourage your church to get involved. Son of God Resources here.

In the month of March the movie God’s Not Dead is also coming out. Pretty cool how the first movie is Son of God and the second major motion film is God’s Not Dead. There must be a third one coming soon after because God loves making a point by repeating himself in threes. Excited to see what that one will be. I’ll keep ya’ll posted. Much Grace & Brilliance, Jenene P.S. I know he’s gorgeous, not exactly a match for the real Jesus, but hey, if it gets butts in the seat, I say it was a brilliant move on God’s part.

Bring Your Fire & Rain

Some of us feel the cry of Jesus, his heartbreak over His Church.

I can’t imagine what it must be like to watch His children be tossed about, have their eyes closed and sit back comfortably watching the enemy thwart His plan. While He knows His plan is good and perfect, the enemy works to make us weak, lukewarm and useless in God’s Kingdom.

I know how it sounds crazy to a lot of Christians, but I really do feel the cry of Jesus. I have heard His voice to bring healing to the nations and I know as sure as I breathe this very moment that it because we are being so small in the face of such a BIG God. We are wimpy too often and try to do so much within our own strength. Jesus doesn’t work that way. It’s His strength that matters. Our job is submission to the will of God. Our job is boldness in the face of all the giants around us. Our job is to stand even when we’re violently trembling with fear. In that stepping out and attempting to walk on the water, it is the power of God that will rise up and make us into His True Church.

We must battle the mind and the consistent distractions of the enemy in order to come to terms with God’s way of doing things. The news is good, however, because the reward is a victorious life and purpose in Christ and there is nothing in this world more fulfilling than that spiritual knowledge. It’s my deep prayer for a Church awakening, for Jesus to rain down from heaven and end the drought of faith, for fire to consume the works of the enemy and purify our souls so that we will rise up and become true warriors worthy of our calling. We’ve got to get our head into the clouds of God and out of this chaotic world. Ask the Lord to give you a vision for His plan for you and do not let it go. It is what you must hold on to help you keep going forward.

If you let go of the vision because you’re worn out, it’s predictable to move into resignation and then depression. What follows can be a nightmare and a sure way for the enemy to take ground in your mind. It’s a tactic he uses all the time. Resignation brings depression, depression brings sedation and then the world becomes an easy target and we aren’t even a worthy adversary to the enemy. We are then subdued and looking around trying to figure out how in the heck did I get here?  Now, we’ve become truly useless because we’ve blindly given our authority to the enemy. This is why I pray God will open our eyes so we can see what the enemy is doing to the Church.

If our job as Christians is to bring healing to a broken world through Christ, how do we do that when the enemy has such an unworthy military opponent! We are putty in his hands. It’s disgusting! Now, everyone, Christians and world religions are feeling the change in spiritual climate as we draw closer to Christ’s return. Christ is preparing His army and I can’t sugar coat this, He will eliminate the barley that is of no use to him. He is right now drawing His Church from everywhere and the religious are going to balk and not get it. This is why they will lose their religion.

Who are we to tell Jesus where to pull His army from? This is the day we’re in. It’s fighting time and no time for useless Christians. It’s the kind of time like when Jesus said in His Holy Word, you will drink my blood and eat my flesh and the disciples went running. They said this is too much, we can’t handle this crazy talk. That is the season the Church is in, so don’t be surprised when you see a little more chaos and division in the Church because it is all for the sake of preparing for Christ’s return. Those who remain standing will get their crown. Those who see will see even more. Those who truly love will love the unloveables. We will see miracles happen in America because we’re going to get very hungry for Truth in the middle of the chaos. There is great hope during this season.

This American soil is being tilled. The entire New Testament Bible is a witness to the effectiveness of Jesus’ cultivation of the“soil.” His True disciples will go on to do miraculous things in forwarding the Kingdom, as we carry out the Greatest Commission the world has ever known, to share the grace and story of a loving, kind and sovereign Jesus.

As Jesus’ present day ambassadors of Truth, we’ve got to hoe, weed, remove rocks, and fertilize the soil so that the ones in whom the Word is sown might be able to understand it, hold it, live in it, and produce an abundance of fruit. (John 15:5). My prayer for you today is to tend to your own ground so we can help with other people’s soil. Now is the time to draw closer to the Creator of the soil and remember in Mark’s version of this parable, Jesus is portrayed as using the phrase,“nobility of character” (greek word- kalokagathia). The phrase is used to describe “good soil,” that is, the person in whom the Word takes root and produces well.  John 15:5, which is my life’s Scripture to live by, that says (5) “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Notice the word remaining. Remain in Him and you will produce beautiful things. Stand and then stand some more.

The Heart of a True Seer

Hi Everyone,

At 4:30 this morning the Lord put this blog on my heart and very clearly directed me to share this insightful information with all of you today.

With God’s help I am going to do my best to clear some things up about this spiritual and revelatory seer gift. It is my prayer that you will investigate for yourself by reading the Word of God, praying and asking the Lord for discernment.

In my experience of the learning curve and the experiences of life, being extremely abnormal and supernatural, the seer gift can take a very long time to understand. Certainly this was the case for me. I recall my first interaction with the demonic realm by age two. You can only imagine the terror I faced as a child and what it was like as a small child being tormented and approached by various spiritual beings. I spent much of my toddler and early years of life being perhaps in my own little world and certainly did not know how to experience the reality of my life and existence being so much different than others. I was not even capable, I’m sure, of describing what I was seeing or what I was experiencing. I can tell you that I had an enormous amount of fear until about the age of 30 and certainly asked the Lord a lot of questions about why I was so different than other people. Living this extra-ordinary kind of existence caused me to cling to Jesus my Lord as a small child and move myself away beginning in my teen years. Jesus was my biggest reality and I also experienced His love and companionship at an unusually young age. He alone saw me through a battlefield I thought no child should have had to endure. All the while, I knew in my spirit that the Lord has very good reasons for what He allows to take place in our lives. If we can grow to believe the truth of that statement, we can begin to honor our journey as a training ground for God’s greater plan.

I am now 46 years old and looking forward to the day when I can understand everything I see and how to apply the Word of God to it. That day may not come until heaven. Discerning and study of the Word are critical to growing in this gift and we are not perfect. We are learning to appropriately use this gift as every believer should do with their gifts.

I am sharing this today for the sake of Christ’s Church because we are in a day and age, in these final hours before the Lord returns, to learn at an accelerated rate how the enemy seeks to destroy the Church. There are people like me who can be a big help at providing insight into how the spirit realm operates and the unusual, skipped over and subtle tactics of the enemy.

Frankly, nothing I will say or teach is outside of what the Word of God has always taught about the enemy, through Jesus, the prophets, the apostles, the teachers, the evangelists and pastors. However, the Lord has told me very specifically that he called me for one reason, that I am willing to share what others have been unwilling to share inside the Church. God uses those who are willing. I am afraid, but I am courageous and that is what I bring to the Church, along with being a woman who is after God’s own heart.

Each day the Lord tells me to just do it and I’ve got to trust Him that He knows the bigger plan so I submit myself to the Father’s will, even with a knot in my stomach. I seek His face daily and I eat His Word for breakfast. It is a breakfast I crave and that nourishes me like no other craving that exists. I can speak from my experience of craving sex, alcohol and power, that there is nothing like worshipping my Lord and Savior God. Total submission is necessary to experience the fullness of Christ and worship.

As I share with you I am sharing my own experiences as well as sound Biblical history and teaching. Please, study it for your self and let God direct your life.

Misunderstandings

There are so many misunderstandings and schools of thoughts regarding the authenticity and use of these revelatory gifts, being prophesying and seeing. I am sad to say that the misuse of the gifts does and will continue to exist as is mentioned in the Holy Bible in Matthew: 7:21-23,

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

What has come of that scripture above, in my opinion, is fear in the bigger scheme of the Church. Because we don’t know how to discern these gifts well or some believe that the scripture that implies that some gifts will go away is referring to the “supernatural gifts”. I totally disagree with that teaching. The greatest gift being love will be all that remains either when Jesus returns in the Millennium or when we’re all in heaven. I can see no Biblical basis for believing these gifts do not exist. Certainly Jesus would have just said in the above Scripture that prophesying and healing will not exist. In the need to discern, it is more than implied they will exist or there would be no need to discern.

The above scripture clearly represents lawlessness, the work of the enemy. These false prophets I believe are leaders who have a following that is being mislead or taken advantage of. Jesus doesn’t like anyone who messes with His kids, especially using His name.

The Role of O.T. Seers

The Bible is a book of prophecy and a way of life as a Christian would be to follow prophecy because it is the proof to the world that the Bible is authentic truth. Most of the prophecies of the Bible have been authentically proven through history and science to be valid and nearing total fulfillment. The apostles followed the prophecies of the O.T. prophets and constantly verbalized when the Word of God was being fulfilled through prophecy. It was a way of speaking to the Church that has always existed. That said, avoiding the topic and gift of prophecy I believe is going against the plan that Jesus himself designed the Church to be and the impact is tremendous.

Ephesians 4

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore it says,“When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” 9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Use Common Sense, Read the Bible

It’s very clear, as Jesus establishes His authority above, in ascending and descending to fulfill all things, that prophets are an established leadership role in His Church because we are incapable of attaining unity of faith in Christ, so far. The prophetic gift, when working properly is one piece to the puzzle in making the body grow so that is builds itself up in love, as mentioned in the Scriptures above. It is a gift to the Church from Christ to help children, not to be tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

If we come from the place of courage rather than fear, in our dealings with this leadership gift of prophecy, then we will get a little closer, or perhaps a lot closer to understanding the Lord’s Way of fulfilling His desire for the Church. So we need to use common sense and start acknowledging the Lord’s design.

I am truly bothered because I know, I see it and the Lord has told me His body is sick and the Church needs healing. Any time the Lord gives us something good, the enemy wants to mock it. He wants to take the glory that belongs to the Lord. He wants to be worshipped. What a clever way to take one of the gifts of Jesus’ Church and keep it held back because of a fearful, prideful and religious spirit at work in the Christian Church. That breaks my heart. God established His design and it is time to stop hiding and get on board with this gift because the enemy is kicking our rear end and we’re sitting back silently because of the controversial nature of the gift of prophecy.

The gift of prophecy belongs in the conservative and evangelical church, not just the charismatic and pentecostal bodies. I guarantee you these insightful leaders are in your midst praying and waiting for God to give them acknowledgment in the Church of Christ we love so dearly.

O.T. Seers & Prophets

The role of the Old Testament seers were typically used to provide direction, counsel and deep wisdom to the prophets and Kings of the day. In the case of Daniel, he interpreted dreams and had the raah seer gift (See below.) They were commonly used and there was nothing out of the ordinary about using these gifts at that time, even though even then false prophets existed.

Seers were accepted as a useful way of fulfilling God’s plan and direction for Israel. Seers and prophets “co-exist” throughout Scripture, however they can have various functions and can receive revelation differently.

Gad, the seer, and Nathan, the prophet, served in King David’s court (2 Samuel 24:4; 1 Chronicles 29:29). Asaph, the seer, and Isaiah, the prophet, were also contemporaries during King Hezekiah’s reign (2 Chronicles 29:30; 2 Kings 20:1). In 1 Chronicles 29:29, the word “seer” is used twice, but it is not the same Hebrew word.

1 Chronicles 29:29

Now the acts of King David, from first to last, are written in the Chronicles of Samuel the seer, and in the Chronicles of Nathan the prophet, and in the Chronicles of Gad the seer, with accounts of all his rule and his might and of the circumstances that came upon him and upon Israel and upon all the kingdoms of the countries.“Now the acts of Kind David, first and last, indeed they are written in the book of Samuel the seer , in the book of Nathan the prophet , and in the book of Gad the seer” (1 Chronicles 29:29).

(Note: This section below came from research online that I found to be Biblically sound and it was well communicated with Hebrew distinctions. It’s a good article reprinted in part from the internet By Lloyd Phillips. I do not know him or his Ministry but found his research and explanation to be well defined and in alignment with my own raah seer gift.)

One of the three Hebrew words that are translated as a prophet in the Bible, raah is one that has the calling of a seer. Someone with this anointing will be someone who sees open visions and is also able to interpret them. That same word is used for someone who sees with natural eyes and understands. This level of prophet sees in the spirit with deeper understanding. There are not that many prophets in the scriptures who see open visions in proportion to the other types listed. The second type is called chozeh. This meaning emphasizes spiritual apprehension, of internal visions. The word chozeh is translated as prophet or seer but appears to be subordinate to the raah type of seer, because of the authority that comes through understanding available to the raah seer. I believe that this view is contained in the verse Is 29:10 For the LORD has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets (chozeh); And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers (raah). Those considered seers in the higher sense, raah, are usually given a preeminence over the other types of prophets. Samuel a raah type of seer was regarded above other prophets and seers of his day. He was not only a prophet sent with a message, but often had a deeper understanding and insight to go along with the vision he carried. Daniel was esteemed above all the other prophets and wise men of his time because of the understanding which accompanied his prophetic gifts. Dan 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Seers have visions.

Lastly there is the Hebrew word nabiy which is the most common biblical word in terms of the prophetic. It means someone who has the Spirit working within them. It is a word for inspiration. Every prophet receives this type of inspiration and in the New Testament all believers can and should operate at this level at least in its elementary levels. Every prophet will be the nabiy kind, but not every prophet will be the raah kind. 1 Chron. 29:29 contains all three of these Hebrew words: “Now the acts of King David, first and last, indeed they are written in the book of Samuel the seer (raah), in the book of Nathan the prophet (nabiy), and in the book of Gad the seer (chozeh)”.

Seers of The New Testament

Obviously John who wrote the Revelation of John was a seer. In Acts11:28 it reads “Now at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. One of them named Agabus stood up and began to indicate by the Spirit that there would certainly be a great famine all over the world. (And this took place in the reign of Claudius.)”

Later Agabus tried to stop Paul from going to Jerusalem because of what would become of his fate. Speaking of Paul’s future imprisonment, it says in Acts 21:11, “he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.” To which Paul said, “I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” And later, “The Lord’s will be done.” I also believe that other apostles had to have had this gift to direct them where to go and where to have caution.

The Holy Spirit reveals things to us all the time. Sometimes He speaks directly to us and sometimes through someone with a gift of prophecy or through visions and dreams, through interpretation of tongues and sometimes through angels. We don’t need to automatically assume the worst, but rather be responsible to test the spirits as the Bible says to do. Pray and use discernment, but don’t judge with the eye because you might have a plank. Pray, read your Bible, ask God to reveal the true intention and heart of the prophecy. Not every prophetic person is a Jezebel or a Joseph Smith that tries to twist the Word of God or tempt you to commit spiritual or sexual adultery.

What About Jesus

Jesus foretold future events. He told people the secrets of their heart and he saw into the spiritual realm. Certainly there are others who are still experiencing this very thing. Jesus knew all things and we do not know all things, but we do know some things and we do see things. Jesus was operating in the prophetic Spirit in many of His interactions throughout the Bible. Clearly he knew the heart of man and when He should speak and when He knew it wouldn’t matter to speak. This level of discernment is prophetic. He said, we would do the same and even greater things when He taught about the work of the Holy Spirit. We obviously don’t really believe that as we should.

Should we always error on the side of being conservative in these matters? We need to let the Lord himself answer that to each person without being so quick to answer. We all have a tendency to do what’s the most comfortable for our own individual preference. That’s not letting the Lord lead or being obedient, that’s being comfortable and that leads to falling asleep in your faith and missing out on what the Lord has. Being too conservative can quickly turn to a religious spirit or a lukewarm spirit. A lukewarm spirit is spit out. Being lukewarm can lead to forgetting your first love and becoming complacent. A religious spirit Jesus has issues with because the religious aren’t leading the people and Jesus is all for the people. I see all of this happening in the Christian Church today. Those were faults of the Church referenced in Revelation 2 and 3 of Christ speaking to the 7 churches of Asia. It’s prophecy, but it’s a reminder of what the Lord loves about the church and what He has against the Church. Good thing to think about as we go about our daily assessing. Jesus will be the ultimate judge. These are things as individual followers of Jesus we need to ask ourselves.

Tips for Pastors or Leaders

-Don’t make a circus out of the prophets/seers in your Church.

-Don’t misuse these individuals like you need a palm reader. Keep your heart pure. We see only what God reveals.

-Make sure your desire is for spiritual counsel, not self-seeking.

-Ask a seer to pray first, discern second and apply third.

-Don’t get ahead of God.

-Remember: We see in part and prophesy in part: 1 Cor. 13:9.

-We may seem a little strange or abnormal, but please cut us some slack because we see things so differently than others and that is why we are seers. We carry a deep burden for the protection of Christ’s Church.

Finally, not every prophetic gift comes from the spirit of Jezebel, referenced as well in Revelation as the Church of Thyatira.

As God-fearing prophets and seers we know our prophetic words must not disagree with the Word of God or lead you away from what Jesus taught. It is our goal to sway you to study the Bible and draw you closer to the good things of Jesus. I want to encourage you not to take my word for it, but to test all things with the Word and hold fast to that which is good.

The most important thing to remember is that all of the gifts to the Church are to edify the Church to grow up together in our knowledge of Christ. We’re doing our best to Honor God and learn so we can be worthy of the calling on our life. Sometimes the learning and the sifting can really wear a person out. But, we remain standing, even if we grumble and we listen for our next steps.

In my Lord’s most Holy name, Jesus, Amen

Know Jesus. Know Power. No Jesus. No Power.

God is always faithful to us, but our journey to be faithful to Him is another story. I think it’s because people have a hard time grasping how accessible God really is. That tells me we need to do a lot more growing up spiritually speaking. We need the power of God in our lives to live out His purposes.

I was raised in a family where I was in desperate need to feel loved and Jesus showed himself faithful. I was so desperate for love I thought I would die of loneliness at times. I was a heartbroken little girl and felt like an outsider in my family. This has caused me to have a great compassion for those who are lonely, outcast or heart broken.

I learned about Jesus’ teachings and his ministry through a children’s Bible that I came to depend on for survival, but I knew His Spirit way before that.

Yesterday, my seven year old unchurched Grandson reminded me of how amazing God is when we’re children. Yesterday he started talking about God. His parents aren’t Christians to set the stage so I use discernment in our conversations about God. He told me God was a Spirit and He created everything. Then I said, “Do you know Jesus?” He said, “of course Grandma”. I said, “who is He?” He said, “Jesus is God too and He is really nice and He is going to come back some day.” Pretty insightful for an unchurched seven year old.  I said, “who told you all that?” He said, no one, I just know. I said, “how do you know?” He said, I don’t know, I just do.” Is that awesome or what! That’s my God! Then, last night when we were going to bed, he said he wanted all of us to have a turn to pray. Then he made a game of it. He said, “I think this is a good practice. I want to get really good at this.” Hmmm. I think he got that desire from his Grandma. We each prayed seven times a different prayer, Isaiah, me and Grandpa. He wanted my Granddaughter Kaydance to play, but I reminded him she wasn’t even two yet. I was blown away! He said, “I want God to talk back to me and I can’t hear him.” So I told him what I tell everyone, “sometimes it takes special ears. So you should pray for special ears to hear God.” I also told him “God talks to his heart so listen with your heart.” He understood all that. Yesterday was a special day!

When I was a child I knew when that feeling of loneliness and desperation showed up I could grab my Bible and it would be enough to get me to the next day. It became my source of power and strength to keep going. Jesus’s Word and His example became my life survival kit and my source of hope. Until I was 30 I was doing a lot of surviving. I survived many horrible and unspeakable things. I am a walking billboard of the grace and miracles of God. Without the Power of the Word in my life, I’d literally be dead today.

The feeling of emptiness and powerlessness that life had a tendency to bring could only be filled with a living and breathing God. I needed more than words in a book to get me through. Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through me. The Father greets me every day with such gladness as I approach His Throne of grace. I’ve learned not to take what the Bible says for granted because there’s real power in it. The more we depend on the Word as as a way of life the more we activate the power that’s available to us.

Now, years later, I still depend on the Word for times of survival, but I’ve moved on from wanting to survive- to wanting to thrive as a partner and daughter of God. I want to learn the mysteries of God because I believe these mysteries need to be described to the world. These deeper Truths and mysteries are creative conversations that draw people, especially the spiritual. I make no bones about it, I am on a mission to draw people to Jesus.

The more mature I become as a Christian, the more I desire to experience the presence and power of God even more in my life. I realize now He’s waiting for us to believe we are who He says we are, children of God. I’ve learned the secret to having a profound spiritual relationship with God- BE DETERMINED!  Be determined to follow God’s Word and CHOOSE POWERFULLY everyday to make Jesus your way of life.  As a mature Christian I now COME BOLDLY to His throne where I know without a doubt there is pure power, love and compassion. How absolutely blessed we are to be able to come to the throne of God and be accepted exactly as we are. God is surely waiting for us to get this at a much deeper level.

Stop Being Small

If you’ve been being small in your relationship with God, today is a beautiful day to start being big, for God’s sake, for your sake and for the world’s sake. Just commit and stop it!

Remember These 3 Things

Be determined to follow the Word

Choose powerfully to make Jesus your Way of life

Come boldly to His throne of grace every day

Such a Creative God We Serve

About three years ago God began to talk to me a lot more than I was used to. During that time I have been watching, listening, learning and discerning. I am learning to trust His Voice, visions and prophecies much more. Although I am quite sure this will be a lifelong journey.

My focus is to keep my eye always on Jesus and His plan, not my own. That helps a lot in the area of discernment.

You see, I had this REAL conversation with God and being someone who truly approaches my relationship with God with the awe of a child, I told God I wanted Him to pour it on! Give me all you got. Wow! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I said those words and actually meant them!

I look for God with they eyes of child, with amazement, with expectation, with excitement to see what He is going to do next. I’ve learned that He really wants more of His followers to approach Him this way. Don’t come to Him expecting a little God to show up or that’s what you’re going to find. We let fear stop us because it’s not really mature of us to expect healing miracles, is it? Yet we know fear does not come from God, caution does.

And, of course, we’ve got to put how the miracles show up in “our” box too. Really? Most of us are really comfortable with a slow and ease into it kind of healing, but God forbid a mass move of the Spirit of God! We immediately go to the place of thinking they must be a false prophet. Some are. Some aren’t. I think we’re all going to very surprised to find out perhaps we weren’t being discerning, but rather seeing what was comfortable for us to see.

Perhaps it’s time to start asking God what He wants us to see, comfortable or uncomfortable because that’s what really matters. Our viewpoint is very small and narrow, but His is All Knowing. In our assessments, let’s come from the place of the Holy Spirit’s gift of Love first because the enemy can get a foothold through being religious, being arrogant and being judgmental. Then we’re off assessing someone else and playing in the enemy’s playground without even knowing it. I hate that while the angels are celebrating it would only make sense that the demons are too when we consistently play in his camp.

Being someone who has had a lifetime of training on the angelic, demonic and spirit realms, I can be sure the ways of the enemy in keeping God’s people from the Good Plan of God are glanced over, missed entirely or hidden under the carpet for the most part in the Church today. I am absolutely positively convicted God told me His Church is sick because of those hidden things that need to come to the surface.

We’ve got to get Holy Spirit smart!

God’s hand is moving and America will see it this year. He is going to show up and surprise everyone. He is in places, like Hollywood, our Government and the occult working right now behind the scenes. He is being the master chess player and moving all the pieces around.

As I was writing and praying this word came to me from the Lord:

I will come out of left field, says the Lord. I will be everywhere, in the media, on the big screen and this year I will not be ignored in America. I am God, I am the Leader of this country. I have not given up my domain. I will rise again in this country. Keep looking, keep praying and see me rain down miracles from heaven. For I am God, I am the God of the Universe, the God that holds this country in the palm of my hands. With new eyes you must see so that you do not miss the good things I have for you. I speak to each one reading this message. I am calling out my chosen to let your voice be heard. Do not be silent. Trust me and share the Good News. My Word says that my old men will see visions and my young men and women will prophesy. This is happening now and I will prove that I will not be put in a box. The conservatives will speak in tongues, those that are religious will lose their religion. Those that serve me diligently with purity of heart, I will tremendously bless for your faithfulness, for not putting me into a small box. The miracles are coming and my miracle workers will rise up and many be healed in My Name. America has exciting days ahead. The parliament will lose control and I will step in. I will change things that seem to not matter, but in the big scheme of things the small things matter. Pray! Pray! Prepare! Prepare for my coming! It is soon, sooner than you think. There is no time to waste. Put your selves aside right now. Start a new day with me leading the charge. Get out my way! Tell satan to get out your way! Take authority and be the large children I am calling you to be and have always called you to be. Go forth and do good, my bright children. Put him under your feet and walk powerfully in the new gifts that I will provide. Stay focused on the face of my Son Jesus. He will not lead you astray and He will lead you down the path of righteousness. Do not be swayed by riches, for my riches are so much greater. Forget all that makes you feel secure, I am your security. I provide good things to my children. Please be my friends, be my servants, be my children and you will discover the Kingdom of God and all its beauty. Where there is power, I am there, where there is love I am there. Where there is grace I am there. I am everywhere, in each one drawing out the power of the Word. Heed the call! My children know my voice, listen for it, expect it. I am not silent in your ears. Anything that you leads you toward comfort is not of me. I call you out of the comforts of this world into a world of the unknown and mysterious because I am a God of secrets. I have provided you the Truth to set you free from everything that holds you back. I am the revealer of mysteries and secrets and the gift of prophesy is alive and will serve my purposes very well as a useful tool in My Kingdom. Question anything that turns you away from me. Question anything that calls you away from the Jesus of the Word. Look for purity, look for goodness, look for mercy, look for grace, obtain it and then go and share it with those that are lost. My call does not change, my purpose does not change, my Word does not change. I do not change, but my methods do change. I am a creative God and I will continue to create new things and new life. Watch the stars. They will speak volumes and the hand of God will move again very soon, says the Lord.”

God’s hand is moving and we are His hands and feet. Here’s a link to a News Broadcast.

Much grace & brilliance, Jenene

My Vulnerable Journey To See

eyes-cropped-smallIt has taken me a lifetime (I’m 46 years old), literally to understand who I am in the Body of Christ. What is my role? Although this blog is a little bit about my personal journey of what I myself have perceived as a strange gifting of the Holy Spirit, a seer, this blog is intended to make you think about how your spiritual gifts are being used in Jesus Christ’s Church today.

Are you holding back your spiritual gifts?

It is my authentic prayer for you that you seek like never before for Godly insight so that you may be made a worthy of the calling on your life. Because our Lord is gracious, merciful and kind, He does provide allowances for our lack of courage to step out and boldly do what He asks us to do. Today, I pray you go a little further in your walk toward boldness and courage because we are at war and all whom He calls are soldiers of His Kingdom, like it or not.

If we are soldiers, who are we fighting against? We live like we’re fighting humanity and each other way too much in the Church. We have to learn to stop ourselves from thinking on this elementary level. We are more brilliant than this. The Holy Bible clearly says we fight NOT against flesh and blood. Ephesian 6:12 says,

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

God does not hide the fact that the enemy is the ruler of this world and we are called to shed light into the darkness that is all around. It is a difficult task if you take that seriously. Being a warrior for Jesus is not easy, not comfortable and will cause you to seek the face of God for strength, wisdom and courage to keep fighting and keep standing for the Truth of Jesus and His Way of life and eternity.

Eternity

This thought of eternity is so uncomfortable for some human beings because the enemy has taken a great focus to counteract what Jesus has taught about it as he does with all spiritual teachings of Jesus.

Religions around the world have adopted reincarnation as a way to believe we will just evolve forever. The challenge with that way of thinking is that we will never need to be accountable to the Spirit of God. This way of thinking actually takes God out of the equation because there is no logic to it, all the while our minds being blind to think this is God’s way. However, it contradicts itself.

Another way to eternity is to become so blinded by the carnal mind that hell becomes a desirable place. That sounds crazy, but I am telling you the truth, otherwise there would be no Church of Satan. Hell is perceived by those who have been completely given over to a carnal way of existing as a place of power.

I could go on for days with the enemy’s devices for blindness in the Church and in the world.

However, the Word of God in Isaiah 14 says this about the enemy’s leader, you look upon him narrowly and consider him and will think, is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? Satan’s power and those of his leading will come to an end. Without focusing on the drama of hell and only the reality of the condition of the spirit, the spiritual environment will be absent of God.

No demon will bow to satan. Every knee will bow to our Lord Jesus and forever and all eternity the demons will know that the choice they made to follow was one that was unable to be undone. Even now, they are very clear, more than we are as humans, that they took on the essence and nature of evil and there is no turning back. Now, they have a responsibility to “be” who they chose to be. They have one focus to kill, steal and destroy and take as many souls with them as they can to the place originally created for the devil and his demons. It is the job of all that is evil and we need to be fully aware (as the Spirit allows) to understand the schemes and the workings of the devil. We’ve got to be much more enlightened by Jesus’ Church so we are not in the blind and we can start taking back lost ground.

Why do I say this? Because the enemy has the upper hand too often.

However, there are a few of us who have always seen things differently. Not only do we exist to draw people closer to Jesus, but we see things from a spiritual perspective, rather than a worldly perspective most often.  In other words we recognize the impacts of worldly things on spiritual and heavenly things. This has been a big challenge for me because I have clearly felt like an outsider and wondered and begged God to answer why I see things differently than others. The more I see the Truth of Jesus and the things the enemy does to handicap God’s children, the more the Lord encourages me to lead this charge.

I would be a liar if I said that so much of the time I do not want this calling. I just want to live a normal life, but I’m not normal. I perceive things most people do not perceive. I admit that there was a time a few years ago when the spiritual world got to be so much, I told the angels, demons and God to to just leave me alone. I needed a break. So they did for awhile. That has to do with the intensity of the gift and my willingness to grow in it.

What Do I Do?

Last year was one of the more difficult journeys of my life. With the loss of my dear Brother Zach, I started to write a book called Saving Zach. Truth be told, he was possessed with alcohol and demons.

Eight years ago after 18 days of no alcohol and hanging on for dear life, double-tied to a hospital bed because he kept breaking the straps, I brought my Bible into the hospital room. He was making disgusting snake gestures with his tongue and slivering his body like a snake as far as he could slither down the bed. Then the demon spoke and He said to me very exorcist like, I am going to kill you.

I let my mother know she needed to get someone from the church and exorcise the demons. I didn’t feel strong enough to take that on and I felt I was too close to him. We were only 11 months apart and we had a unique kind of bond. I didn’t think I could do it because I thought the devil would somehow use my love for my brother against me. We needed someone he couldn’t tempt in that way.

However, my mother did not follow through. They were not exorcised, but they quieted.

Last year my brother fell off the wagon again, but the damage to his body was so tremendous and of course I prayed for his healing. I prayed the Lord would release him from the grip of the enemy who had bound him as a child and convinced him that God couldn’t possibly exist after such a painful childhood. He opened the door to the enemy and life was a living hell until the Lord released him this last summer.

In his last weeks I spent 18 days with my brother, but his mind was not there enough for me to make sure he could give himself back to God. He was a strong Christian as a child and he loved the Word of God and he loved Jesus.

I waited every day for my opportunity, but it never came the way I wanted. So I laid hands on him and I prayed fervently for his soul. I ministered to his completely broken body and massaged his legs which ached from being in bed for 3 months. I felt a kind of peace and I knew in my spirit I was doing all I could and everything else was up to my Lord and his ministering angels.

My brother spoke of a white lightening creature in the room and struggled to discern what was real. I hoped it was an angel from the Lord. Finally I surrendered to God’s way and I had to leave back to California. My brother wanted to go home desperately, but he didn’t know what home was. He begged me to take him home and my heart felt like it was being ripped out of my chest watching my beloved brother suffer so much torment and mental confusion. I didn’t realize he probably meant take me to heaven.

The Lord gave my husband and I a Word before I left to Idaho to be with him in those final days. I asked him to release him from the bondage and God said, “I am releasing him.” I didn’t know what that meant exactly, if he’d live or die. But, I knew he was going to put an end to his suffering and he would by His grace, make a way for my brother to get back home as he had been begging me, to heaven. I knew he was going to heaven because if he was going to end up in forever torment, he would remain imprisoned and God would have not promised to release him.

Although I was grateful to my Lord for those words when I had prayed for twenty five years for my brother, I still have memories of his suffering that I wish I could shake, but perhaps due to my ministry, never will.

As I was there going through the emotions of watching him fall apart in every sense of the word, my heart just wanted to save him so badly. I started writing about Saving Zach.

What happened after that was everything in my life began to fall apart, or be taken from me and I was tested, all the while hearing the Lord speak to me, “keep standing, keep standing no matter what.” And although I felt so weak from the experience of it all, I now understand what the Lord meant when He said, I am made strong in your weakness.

Here I am today seven months later after incredible testing and three and a half years of sifting to tell you, we exist to let this hurting, sick and tormented world know that it is Jesus who saves the Zach’s of the world.

The memories of my brother Zach and his sufferings encourage me all the more to take back what the enemy has stolen, to bring healing to the nations and exhort the Church to stand against all the schemes of the enemy.

It is not enough to know who wins in the end. This journey to follow Christ is about becoming the Church in all it’s glory.

You are His Church. You are His hands. You are His mouthpiece. You are His heart. Go, go, go!

Who Am I in the Church?

I am daily in prayer for those that are afflicted around the world, for the leaders of our world, for movie stars who will rise up for the cause of Christ, the leaders of the Churches, for the occult being called out, for those cults that use the name of Jesus to come to know the True Jesus, for the spiritually, mentally and physically tormented and the like.

I pray for the for the Mormons to find the True Prophet, the Catholics to find the True Pope, the Muslims to find the True Holy God, The Christians to Know Jesus deeply, the Satanists to find True Power, for the Buddhists to find True Peace, for the spiritualists to find The Holy Spirit, for the Jews to find the True Messiah, for the Luciferians to see the Great Deceiver and for the Hindus to find Jesus as their path to liberation.

I pray for the angels of the churches, an increase of God’s grace, for the Holy Spirit to expand Himself, for a piercing of our heart for the Great Cause of Jesus, I pray for spiritual, political, and economic climates and for the Word of God to come alive in the hearts and lives of humanity and so much more.

I am burdened and rung out at times with responsibility in ways most people cannot understand for the time that is coming and for the preparation of the Lord’s Church.

In Preparation for Ministry

I have spoken with satan who introduced himself as Lucifer and been threatened of course with death to stop ministering to the Saints of God.
I have had a lengthy conversation with a demon who God used to shed light on their unchanging nature to lie.
I cast spirits out of my home even as I write.
I have received angelic visitations (not ever having studied about angels).
I have received visions from the angel Gabriel about heaven and hell and they were interpreted by him as well.
I have seen and felt more demons than I could ever count.
I experience the demon’s curiosity about humanity.
I experience types and levels of evil, some being more powerful than others.
I experience the deep respect of Holiness by Jesus’ angels.
I experience the angel’s praise and honor for God and His throne.
I experience the desire of Jesus to give good gifts to His Children.
I experience Jesus deep desire to have His children desire Him more.
I experience Jesus’ desperation to see us grow spiritually to prepare for what is coming . . .
and so much more!

And all of this does make me weary and tired at times since I am human and very imperfect. However I raised my hand and said, I will do whatever you ask of me. Still I have told God He has the wrong girl because I long for the simpler life. I  have told Him I can not do this work after such tremendous torment from demonic/unclean spirits. It is so far out of this world that it humbles me because the responsibility I carry to Jesus and His Church is beyond enormous for me. So I understand how difficult it is to be a True Follower of Jesus and be willing to do anything He asks to prepare for His ministry and His coming.

If you are a True Follower of Jesus then this blog should not be so much of a surprise because as I speak the Lord has been preparing your heart and helping you to come to terms with what it means to truly follow after Him.

I want to encourage you

We are still learning and growing with our spiritual gifts, but we will move forward for the cause of our Lord Jesus, whose face will shine upon us and His Spirit will take us to our knees where all true power lives.

We cannot stop. We’ve got to remain focused on Jesus’ Good Plan and stop trying to direct God. He knows what He is doing. We are not God so we need to have Him take us out of our conservative or charismatic box or whatever box you’re in, and take Him out of our limited-vision box. However big or great or loving your visionary box is, His vision and plan is perfect.

He will NOT be put in a box. His Word says, “we see in part and we prophesy in part.” Even those like myself who see spiritually and prophetically still see pieces. We’re not sitting around “doing readings” on people and we don’t have all the answers to everything in the world. We are called and anointed like every other Christian and we have to keep our eyes on revealing Jesus in all His glory.

We must go to our knees. With all humility, His Throne is where His power to keep us going and moving forward in our gifts comes from.

I want to encourage you today to pray for bigger ears to hear and bigger eyes to see what the Spirit of the Lord is saying so that we will become the Church in all its glory. With those eyes and ears, pray for discernment and I believe God will honor His Church.

How Do We Turn The Tables?

We must turn the tables and gain some ground in the Church.

In our fear of taking the focus off of Jesus and giving more power to the enemy, we want to teach and speak only a little about the enemy, or tread very lightly. Although, I don’t believe this is keeping the Lord’s children from knowing Christ, I do think it is giving the enemy and his kingdom the right to have a heyday by means of sickness, mental illness, addiction, strongholds, family attacks and even curses, worldwide. In addition, we still have a large amount of Christians who don’t believe in the enemy or hell. Which, is absurd and makes me wonder if they understand why Jesus needed to come to earth in the first place. It was to undo satan’s deception that led to an imperfect, unclean and unholy world.

Please don’t misunderstand me. Not all things are caused by the enemy and also understand that Jesus is so good that He alone can turn every evil into something good. This is one way Jesus takes power back from the enemy.

What I am clearly saying is that we, as the Church, are not utilizing our God-given power or gifts as we should and the Lord has told me that “My Church is sick” and He asked me “to help heal the Church”. I assure you I will do my best to educate God’s children in these deeply spiritual matters that have been swept under the carpet or been taught an elementary level. Never will I say anything that goes against the Word of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Always, always, always I will point you back to Him because all authentic truth, purity, love and power exists in Him.

But, I do see things and it is our spiritual gifts through Christ that play a HUGE part in the big scheme of where the Church is heading and the Revelation of God’s Holy Word.

Life here on this planet is the place now where we CHOOSE CONSISTENTLY between the two camps, what is good (life) and what is evil (death). The Spirit of the Lord has to reveal this to us in its entirety because it is not all about living morally, that is the fundamental and human way of thinking about it. However, a deeper spiritual understanding is to consider that doing righteously, is more about doing what is right in the sight of God. To one person something is right and to another something else is right. Only the Holy Spirit can lead each one individually to the the right path for the pre-ordained plan for each human being called according to His Purpose.

Understanding that incredibly magnificent distinction (CHOICE) is what will have us go from warming the pews, chairs or bleachers to living for Christ’s purpose and continuing to seek the good things Jesus has for us. If you do not choose, the devil will choose for you.

You need to KNOW you have the POWER through Christ to choose. Choose the Good things of Christ. Choose to build His Kingdom and take dominion or the devil will take dominion because we have not taken rightful Kingdom authority.

By ignoring the enemy (not referring to resisting, this is temptation) and remaining ignorant to the open doorways to evil, ie. being religious, lukewarm, arrogant, selfish, self-seeking, cruel, undisciplined, uneducated regarding spiritual matters, untalented (not using God’s talents), unspiritual (not letting God lead us spiritually), stubborn (also not letting God lead us) we have a Church that is sick in every sense of the word. We play in the enemy’s camp and he accuses us before our God all day long and says if they’re going to continue to open the doorways to my realm of authority (anything evil or opposing Jesus), I’m going to persecute the heck out of these Christians, therefore re-crucifying Christ.

Jesus triumphed over powers and authorities by way of the Cross and this is why Paul says not to re-crucify Jesus by continuing to sin because he understood that it opens the doorway to the enemy’s domain. Jesus is persecuted because we (His Body) are persecuted and He is trying to let us know authority has been given to us to overcome the enemy when He attacks us. However, we cannot have it both ways. You cannot live for God and play in the enemy’s camp by being like the devil in the way you live (character) and the way you believe (following your own way).

Colossians 2:15tells us, “…and having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

Paul also says we have been set free from the bondage of sin so stop living as if you’re not. Paul knew better than anyone on the planet at the time how the enemy works. The Bible says he had a thorn in his flesh from satan. Every day he lived with that thorn being fully aware of who put it there and still he never stopped following Christ. So clearly he has proven that we can still do what God is calling us to do in spite of the enemy if we will STAND and FIGHT. Paul had to have understood that to overcome the enemy, to be used by God, to see God’s Good plan come to pass, we had to have the mind of a spiritual warrior. Through the armor of God, we overcome, we win the battle and finish the race. However, I’m sorry to say we don’t apply these Scriptures in Romans 6 enough when it comes to understanding the Spiritual Truths of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus is the Way and The Key to the Kingdom of God where no death and no darkness exist. Until then we need to wake up and start being like Jesus. Do the Father’s will and stop worrying about everyone who does not know your heart or your spiritual conviction.

All that said, I believe most of our problems and lack of success in the Church are not because of the enemy, but rather because we provide the way for satan to take authority. Respond with the authority of the Word and keep your heart and mind pure before God so that the Holy Spirit will move on your behalf and give you the strength to overcome.

Do not let satan, the accuser of the brethren, get the upper hand in your spiritual journey. We were created to be MORE BRILLIANT than our current spiritual behavior.

We were born, we do exist and we will die physically or spiritually. You get to choose. We must look at life and death from a logical and Christ-like spiritual point of view. He was the great Spiritual Teacher and He did teach spiritual truth at an extremely high level and it is why parables, metaphors, prophecy and revelation are and were ways of communicating Spiritual Truths. He said, “let your ears hear what the Spirit of the Lord says.”

These are spiritual truths that have to do with Kingdom things, sometimes difficult to understand through our human mind so we need to search for the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth and righteousness.

The 5 Things I live by

  1. Seeking Jesus’ face
  2. Approaching the throne of the Almighty God
  3. Studying the Bible
  4. Discerning spirits through the Word, prayer and God’s leading
  5. Praying diligently

These are the secrets to become all that God intends you to be. We will all see more and more what the Lord wants for His Church and His Children if we just keeping doing the 5 things above with pure intention of God’s will.

With Grace & Brilliance, Amen

God is Alive & Ready To Rock Your World

GNDFBCover

Do you ever wonder if God is dead? Do you wonder what He thinks about? Do you wonder if little old you is in the thoughts of our God?

I do, a lot. I admit it.

I spend time thinking about this kind of weird stuff. BTW: I like that I’m weird. I’m more concerned at this point in life that I worry about what God thinks of me, rather than the world. (Tip: Getting to this humble place opens a doorway to literally hear Jesus talk to us.)

So many of you are looking for Truth right now and at the same time humanity is in a dilemma. The more we wonder about God and we look for Him, the more our spirit becomes open to a lot of confusion. The Bible says that we have a real enemy and he is the author of confusion and He doesn’t want you to find Jesus. Even if you’re a Christian, he’ll work hard to keep you from knowing that Jesus has good things for you. There’s a plan and a purpose and exquisite and miraculous spiritual gifts waiting for those who diligently seek the face of God.

It’s time to stop settling for a mediocre, average or status quo relationship with Christ. There’s nothing ordinary about my God! He says “He has left the same spirit that had the power to raise Jesus from the dead with us.”

Do you get how profound this is?

Pray about it, seriously. Those words were meant for this day, today. Today is the day to wake up and start being brilliant. Go deeper in the Spirit by letting go of your box of who God is.

He’s the God that is showing up everywhere. There’s a spiritual awakening happening and the whole world is feeling it. He’s showing up in Hollywood, but the press does a pretty good job of hiding that, until NOW. This year God’s taking over.

The Lord lead me this morning to this movie in the banner at the top of this page, coming in March. (Spread the word., Pin it, tweet it, share it. Pretty please.)

At the same time He has been walking me through how to put this blog together and He told me to add this category called “God In Hollywood.”

(BTW: If you want to hear another supernatural thing that happened. As I was creating the widget in my design program for God in Hollywood a spirit decided to irritate me and let me know they weren’t happy about what I am doing. The word Hollywood kept getting changed all on it’s own 3 times to black. After the third time, I said no more.) This kind of stuff has happened all my life and it happens to people a lot more than they’ve been willing to talk about it.)

It’s time for a little Truth in this world. The Bible says we fight not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness.

If you’re not a Christian, the Bible refers to the leader of the Dark World as satan, the devil and the god of this world. There is one reason that he has been able to gain this title because humans are typically living for their own purpose instead of God’s purpose. The Bible refers to this as being carnally minded rather than spiritually minded. That’s his trick keeping you thinking about what you want rather than what God wants and has pre-ordained.

I think it’s time to start asking this profound question God, what do you want for me?

The world is getting tired of the enemy’s trickery and our human spirits are grieving and we are growing tired of religion vs relationship, selfishness vs. contribution, insignificance vs. significance, smallness  vs. greatness, sickness vs. healing, black magic vs. pure miracles.

Thank God we’re discovering that the “high life” will leave you with a god of this world that will leave you high, dry and empty.

Jesus on the other hand offers an authentic experience where He will never leave us and never forsake a single one who chooses Him. He is the fountain that springs up in our soul and fills us to overflowing with his Holy and Good Spirit.

Even if you battle the enemy day by day, which you will, God’s miracles will shine through if you will keep standing no matter what and continue to ask God to show Himself and His face.

I pray you just try on what I’m saying.

This year is a year for miracles in Hollywood, in America and in our Government, as well as Israel. His voice will not be quieted.

God’s truth spoken to me. That said, I’m going to be on the look out, with the help of God, to prove to you that what I’m telling you is truth. Watch and see. He WILL rock your world. Promise.

Are You Being Intentional?

A good question to type up poster size and put on your bathroom mirror is “what is my intention today?”

Let me explain.

This came to me as I was once again soul-troubled as I was reading about the Christian Mystics. How many are misunderstood, right off the bat without hearing their story or what’s at the heart of who they are. Sadly, many so-called Christians are still living and perceiving things from a religious perspective, rather than a spiritual one. Jesus was so against that. It’s a time to get out of the box.

Am I saying everyone who claims the title of Christian Mystic a true follower of Christ? Absolutely not! No more would I say that should we believe that everyone who claims to be a Christian is actually a Follower of Jesus.

Jesus himself, said “many will come to heaven’s door saying Lord Lord and Jesus will say away, I never knew you because you did not do the will of my Father.”  This scripture confronts a lot of Christians and it needs to confront a whole lot more.

If we could go deeper please. What’s the spiritual teaching here?

Jesus set the example consistently to do the Father’s will. He said, not my will but your will be done Father. Do you think Jesus wasn’t tempted to say, “I can’t do this.”? If you’ve read the Word you know differently. Of course He was. He said, let this cup pass from me.

He lived each day intentionally, intentionally listening to the voice of God and doing the Father’s will. He was in the Father and the Father was in Him. This is such a powerful teaching. He said, we (His children) are in Them (Jesus, The Father & the Spirit).

Well, if that’s the case, are we ignoring Them because we don’t always sense Their presence? Or is it that we don’t sense the Spirit’s presence because we aren’t intentionally looking to do the will of God? Hmm . . .

Obviously, if Christ turns someone away it is for the reasons He gave in Matthew 7:21-23:

I never knew you.
You didn’t do the will of My Father.
You who worked iniquity. (immoral, corrupt, evil, wickedness, violators of moral law)

There’s no guessing here. As relational beings we know if we know someone or not. We know if we’re acquainted with someone. We know if we’ve read about someone or heard about someone. None of those things are knowing someone intimately.

When you know Jesus and His Way, His Truth, His Life, then you are intimately in relationship with Him and your deepest desires in life will be to know what He wants you doing with the gift of life He has given you. You will seek after those spiritual gifts the New Testament Bible teaches with humility so as to not move over into the devil’s camp unintentionally (being corrupted) as false prophets do (mentioned in Matthew 22-23).

Certainly we are at an age where the Spirit is moving powerfully and the spiritual gifts of true believers are increasing and it’s so exciting because we’re getting closer to our Lord coming back. We can’t fear this time, we need to celebrate it!

Do we need to be leery of those who call themselves prophets or apostles or are just a little outside or even a lot outside the box, who work miracles and heal others in the name of Jesus? Clearly Jesus says in verse 22 “many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?” He’s telling us the culture will consist of a lot of supernatural movements, but He’s not saying don’t trust anyone who uses what much of the Church would refer to as the “questionable” gifts. He’s speaking to us letting us know that time is coming (I think it’s here.) and it’s a warning to not be corrupted by the power. We are still jars of clay carrying an incredible power.

Some of us have kept our eyes on the Lord and are working miracles through the Spirit and prophesying through the Spirit with the Father’s intention and plan running the show. We are still part of the Body of Christ in it’s wonderfully artistic form.

Too many doorways are opened unintentionally because we are not living intentionally for God’s will remembering it is God’s power working through us.

You’ve got to keep your eyes focused on Jesus, who knows our intentions. He knows the heart better than we know ourselves. He knows our motives. If not, as our gifts grow we can become arrogant and get caught up in the moment of spiritual power.

We don’t have to like everything the Father calls us to do. That has nothing to do with being intentional.

If you will be intentional about doing the Father’s will and set yourself aside, miracles WILL happen. You will know a Holy Holy Holy God who has so many more good things for you. You will understand the power of intention will draw you to throne of His grace where all pure and lovely power exists.

There’s a lot at stake. Let’s be True Kingdom Builders and do the Father’s will. Let’s rise up and be the Church in all it’s Glory!

Much Grace & Brilliance,

Jenene

We Need More Miracles

I know I’m abnormal. At 46 I’ve learned to accept and appreciate that about myself. I actually love meeting other abnormal people too. It reminds me of the beauty and creativity of God.

I think we need more abnormal or peculiar people in the world. It helps others around them to wake up a little, see things differently. We need that.

Part of what makes me so abnormal are my experiences in life and the way I spiritually perceive things. As an example since I was six years old I have been mesmerized by Jesus, truly intrigued with Him as a healer and compassionate God who walked the earth. He really stood out for me. I started resonating with him at a very young age. Somehow I believed he really did perform miracles and I thought with a childlike mind about it and still do. It just hasn’t made sense to me that we aren’t doing what he did a lot more.

Therefore I’ve been on a journey to get answers.

Along with that a gift of heart wrenching compassion came for the forgotten, starving, sick and heart broken. Honestly remember experiencing physical pain when I saw starving children on television and started imaging myself becoming more and more like Jesus. Constantly in the question of “Why don’t we see more miracles?”

As a child I obviously didn’t realize the personal sacrifice, study, prayer, testing and pain that would come along with being abnormal like Jesus. I see myself traveling the world to bring healing to children, men and women.

Am I speaking into being what has not happened yet? No. I’m speaking into being what has already been shown to me. The miracle is in believing in what He prophesies to us and stepping into our anointed/sanctified roles as his Daughters and Sons of God.

This calling requires wisdom in order to bring healing to those that are experiencing physical, spiritual or mental suffering. I do not take this Jesus-inspired calling lightly at all. I have at this point in my own life experienced so much personal pain, abuse, brokenness and wrongful judgment that I prefer to go and be with Jesus if He is not going to use me to shed light into the darkness of people’s lives. Since I have been assured that day is not coming as soon as I’d like, I trust my God to work miracles at my willingness to be used for a purpose that is completely beyond my own abilities.

I believe God is waiting on us to #1 go deeper, #2 step up and #3 believe in miracles with the humility of a little child.

Are you ready to partner with God’s Spirit?

Love & Grace,

Jenene
